There is busy inbound and outbound car traffic at the Kulata-Promachonas checkpoint and the Makaza border crossing on the Bulgaria-Greece border. The Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad border checkpoints at the Bulgaria-Greece border are open for cars and minibuses only.
