Bulgaria’s tennis players off to an excellent start at Wimbledon

Grigor Dimitrov and Viktoriya Tomova started their participation in the Wimbledon championships by winning their first matches. Grigor Dimitrov won the match versus Sho Shimabukuro, Japan by 6-1, 6-2, 6-1 in his 80th Grand Slam victory. Viktoriya Tomova won on Sunday versus 27-year old Bernarda Pera, USA by 6-7, 6-3, 6-3.

In the second round, Grigor Dimitrov is to play versus Ilya Ivashka, Belarus, while Viktoriya Tomova will face wild card player Katie Bowler, UK.
