No data of pollution of the Bulgarian and the Romanian Black Sea area

The outlook for the northwestern part of the Black Sea remains favourable until July 19, with potential pollutants remaining in Ukraine’s aquatory. No pollution was observed in the exclusive economic zone of Bulgaria on satellite images. According to the data, there are no concerns related to bathing areas on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, the Bulgarian Ministry of Environment and Water said. 

The ministry is providing regular monitoring of the sea water following the destruction of the wall of the Nova Kakhovka dam in Ukraine. According to the daily report of the Romanian Ministry of Environment, no unusual phenomena have been observed with regard to water quality in the Danube, inland rivers and the Black Sea, BTA informed.
