Bulgaria qualifies for the quarterfinals at the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship

Bulgaria continues its solid performance at the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U19 World Championship held in Croatia and Hungary. The team coached by Borislav Krachanov achieved a fifth consecutive victory in the town of Szeged (Hungary).

 Bulgaria defeated Hungary 3:0 (25:17, 25:19, 25:18) in the round of sixteen and advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament. The quarterfinals begin on August 9 in the Croatian city of Osijek. Bulgaria is to play against Turkiye. The winner will qualify for the semi-finals and will play against the winner of the quarter-final between Japan and Thailand.
