The Bulgarian Socialist Party, BSP, wants a hearing of Defence Minister Todor Tagarev in parliament at a joint sitting of two parliamentary committees – of defence and of foreign policy.

The BSP wants Minister Tagarev to provide more information about Bulgaria’s positions on the new regional plans for the defence of NATO territory with high readiness forces, as well as on security in the Black Sea region. The BSP is also demanding information in light of the statement by Todor Tagarev of an upgrading of the multinational battle group to a brigade level, by bringing in allied formations, as well as the formation of a multinational divisional headquarters in the military bases in Kabile and Bezmer.
