Partial state of emergency declared in the municipality of Kazanlak

In the evening of August 21, the Regional Governor of Stara Zagora Iva Radeva introduced a partial state of emergency on the territory of the municipalities of Kazanlak and Muglizh due to the fire that engulfed 500 hectares of shrubs and forest vegetation. 

Eight firefighting teams from Stara Zagora, Maglizh and Kazanlak and two teams from the State Forestry Enterprise were involved in extinguishing the fire in the late afternoon of August 21. Servicemen from Krumovo Air Base arrived with a helicopter to help the firefighting teams. The partial state of emergency will continue until August 28.
