Government adopts National Plan on Combating Terrorism

The Bulgarian government has adopted a National Plan on Combating Terrorism. This happened during a governmental meeting held today. The document is written in accordance with a major priority for Bulgaria and Europe - the fight against terrorism, the government press service points out.

Violent terrorism is reported to be a growing and changing challenge that requires new and far-reaching responses, ranging from actions during immediate security threats to measures on its underlying factors. It is specified that the document developed and adopted by the government will not affect the state budget. No more details have been announced yet.
