Young artists from Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine and Spain will be showing works inspired by the rituals and traditions in different countries.

The exhibition, organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Bulgaria, and with the financial support of Burgas Municipality, is part of an international educational, cultural and artistic project: Ritual feasts uniting cultures and hearts.

Ethnographic Museum in Burgas
The exhibition will be presented on 28 August in the garden of Burgas’ Ethnographic Museum, and on the following day the children’s works will be put on show in the lobby on the second floor of the NHK culture house, the local administration has announced. Having been started by the students from the private school of art in Burgas in 2012, the initiative has now been joined by pupils from the secondary school of fine arts in Istanbul, students from Izmail, from the Bulgarian Sunday school in Malaga, as well as from the local primary school in the Spanish town.

Guests at the opening of the exhibition in Burgas will be able to try the traditional Ukrainian vareniki and different kinds of traditional food. Children’s music formations will present a folklore programme.
