Bulgaria wants to expand exports of traditional foods to the United States

Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture Kiril Vatev met on Tuesday with the United States Ambassador to Bulgaria Kenneth Merten. Minister Vatev and Ambassador Merten discussed the opportunities for expanding the export to the American market of Bulgarian processed products made according to traditional recipes.

“Bulgaria has wonderful wines with huge export potential", Kiril Vatev pointed out. Minister Vatev briefed Kenneth Merten on the action taken by Bulgaria to facilitate the transit of Ukrainian agricultural produce. “We are helping Ukraine and provide full support to the best of our ability". Minister Kiril Vetev went on to say.
