The tourism business in Bansko is enjoying good results this summer, comparable to the strong season a year ago, said Malin Bistrin, chairman of the Union of Tourism Businesses in the town. In addition to the fact that many Bulgarians visit the mountain resort, foreign tourists from traditional destinations such as Israel and the Balkan countries also return to it. Bansko also attracts vacationers from Spain, Austria and Norway, which are not among the most active for tourism this season.

The town continues to entertain its guests with a varied program, so today and tomorrow they will be able to enjoy the Unique Bansko culinary feast. On the Nikola Vaptsarov central square in the mountain resort, there will be an open-air culinary evening with local dishes according to family recipes. A re-enactment of local Bansko customs and the making of wrought iron products is also planned.

On Sunday, a review of Bulgarian folk costumes and an art studio for children will take place in the central square.
