Weather forecast: A sunny Friday with moderate temperatures

During the night the weather will be predominantly clear with a temporary increase of clouds over Mounts Rila and the Rhodopes, and there will be rain in isolated places there.

On Friday the weather will be predominantly sunny over Western Bulgaria. Over the Eastern part of the country there will be considerable clouds, with occasional brief showers. Maximum temperatures 24-29° C, for Sofia around 24° C.

Over the mountains there will be more significant clouds, with more sunny spells over the Westernmost regions. Light rain is in the forecast for isolated areas of the Rhodopes and the Eastern portion of the Balkan Range. There will be a moderate wind from the East-Northeast. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 19° C., at 2,000 m. around 12° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be considerable clouds with light rain in some parts. There will be a moderate, in the Southern regions temporarily strong wind from the Northeast. Maximum air temperatures 24-26° C., close to the temperature of the sea water, sea swell 3-4.
