Six people have died so far and at least as many are still missing after storm Daniel triggered landslides and destroyed roads and bridges in central Greece. The port city of Volos, the surrounding mountainous region of Pelion and the towns of Karditsa and Trikala are the worst affected areas.
As of Tuesday, 820 people have been evacuated across the country, 750 of them in the Thessaly region.
