No Bulgarians reported injured after the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Morocco

At least 820 people have died following the 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Morocco, the local authorities said.

Until now, there are no official data on injured or dead Bulgarian citizens, the Situation Centre at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced. There have been no reports of Bulgarian citizens seeking assistance from the Bulgarian Embassy in Rabat, the statement rurther reads. 

If they need assistance, Bulgarians residing in the Kingdom of Morocco can contact the Bulgarian Embassy in Rabat at +212 537 76 54 77; +212 537 76 40 82, at the emergency phone number: +212 661 230 656, as well as via the email of the Consular Service at bgconsul.rabat@gmail.com.
