Weather forecast for 17 September

Cloudy and rainy Sunday

Clouds will remain significant on Sunday. There will be light showers in places. In the afternoon there will be thundershowers in the west uplands. Precipitation will weaken and stop by evening. Minimum temperatures will be between 14°C and 19°C, around 15°C in Sofia, and maximum will be between 24°C and 29°C, around 25°C in Sofia.

In the mountains the clouds will be considerable. There will be rain showers, significant in amount in the western Bulgaria. Mostly moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast, in the western regions - from the southeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be about 19°C, at 2,000 m - about 12°C.

Along the Black Sea coast the clouds will be more substantial before noon and in places there will be light rain showers. Moderate winds will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be 24°-26°C - close to sea water temperature. Sea swell will be 3-4.
