On the occasion of the 83rd anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Craiova and the return of Southern Dobrudzha to the borders of Bulgaria, the multimedia presentations "Dobruja calls" and "Dobrich rejoices" can be seen on the website of the Regional History Museum in Dobrich.

The rich photographic material traces the memorable events of the autumn of 1940. It shows moments from the work of the Bulgarian delegation in the Romanian city of Craiova until the signing of the treaty on September 7, the entry of the Bulgarian army into Southern Dobrudzha, which took place between September 21 and 1 October 1940.

The photos have captured the joy of the Dobrudzha population when welcoming the Bulgarian soldiers in Balchik and Tutrakan on September 21, Dobrich and Kavarna on September 25, Silistra on October 1.

The tragedy of the Bulgarians from Northern Dobrudzha, who were forced to move to the south by virtue of the treaty, is also shown. Nearly 70,000 people from Northern Dobrudzha had to move to the towns and villages of Southern Dobrudzha.

The presentations include photos from the funds of the Historical Museums of Dobrich, Silistra, Tutrakan, General Toshevo and from the rich collection of old glass negatives of cultural monuments, photographed around the Bulgarian lands at the beginning of the last century, kept by the American family Nellie and Robert Gipson, known as the Gipson Archive.
