Less than a month before the local elections, Vasil Terziev, nominated for mayor of Sofia by "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria", has the lead with 33.8% of approval, while the GERB-SDS candidate Anton Hekimyan is second with 23.7%.
These are the results of a sociological survey of the Center for Analysis and Marketing, conducted in the period September 30 - October 3, 2023 with own funds among 1003 adult citizens.
In the race for the position of mayor, BSP candidate Vanya Grigorova received 13.8% of approval, Deyan Nikolov from "Vazrazhdane" - 10.2%, Vili Lilkov from "Blue Sofia" coalition - 4.6%, and Ivaylo Valchev from ITN - 3%. According to the survey, Vasil Terziev would win the elections in the second round.
When it comes to the lists for municipal councilors, the PP-DB coalition and "Save Sofia" have the lead with 35%, as GERB-SDS have 25%.
