PM Nikolay Denkov convenes Council of Ministers’ counter-terrorism centre over Hamas attack against Israel

Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov is calling a meeting of the Council of Ministers’ counter-terrorism centre , at 6 PM today, over the attack by Hamas against Israel, the government press service has announced.

The centre, with coordinator the State Agency for National Security (SANS), analyses terrorist threats and proposes, to the interior minister, an identification of the threat level and the introduction of a level of preparedness. Besides SANS officers, the cente’s work is carried out also by the Ministry of the Interior, the State Intelligence Agency, the Military Intelligence service and the Defence Ministry’s Military Police.
