There is no danger for Bulgaria from the general threats of terrorist activity. The threat level remains at the lowest level - third, which means that vigilance is needed, said Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov at a briefing in the Council of Ministers after a meeting of the National Counter-Terrorist Center. Two meetings of the center have already been held since the Palestinian attack by Hamas on Israel.

For the places that have an increased risk - airports, train stations, synagogues, tourists from the State of Israel, the level of risk has been increased to the yellow level - vigilance, Denkov pointed out and added that with regard to state institutions, the level remains the lowest possible - green.

"At the same time, the situation is changing very quickly. What we discussed with colleagues in the services is that there is a serious danger of the conflict developing and escalating, which could lead in the shorter term to an increase in refugee flows and to risks related to the supply of raw materials, and therefore to the prices of these raw materials", explained the prime minister.

The risk of infiltration of members of terrorist organizations through the refugee flows into Bulgaria remains, the chairman of the National Security Agency, Plamen Tonchev, emphasized at the briefing.
