Weather forecast for October 16

Lower temperatures and changeable weather on Monday

During the next 24 hours, a fast cold atmospheric front will pass through the country. At night, the cloudiness from the northwest will increase rapidly and rainfalls can be expected mainly in the northern and eastern regions of the country. The lowest temperatures will be between 8°C and 13°C; in Sofia - about 8°C.

On Monday, clouds from the north-west will quickly dissipate to sunny weather, but before midday it will still be cloudy over the southern and eastern regions of the country. There will be moderate to strong northwesterly wind, which will significantly weaken in the afternoon. The highest temperatures will be between 16°C and 21°C, in Sofia around 16°C.

In the mountains, clouds will give way to sunny weather. Precipitation is possible in the Rhodopes. There will be moderate to strong northwesterly wind. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 11°C; at 2000 meters - about 3°C.
