Urban Wine Fest will be held in Plovdiv

The International Day of Mavrud will be celebrated in Plovdiv on October 21 and 22 with a rich wine tasting and entertainment program. Visitors to the Urban Wine Fest - Plovdiv 2023 will get to know more than 40 local varieties of wine presented by wine experts and enjoy delicious street food.

The wines will be offered in the form of tasting sets, by the glass or by the bottle.The entrance is free, and consumption and tastings will be paid for on the spot.

International Mavrud Day is dedicated to one of the most valued Bulgarian wine varieties. The event is organized by the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals and is held for the fourth year. This year, the event is celebrated with as many as four two-day city wine festivals in Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo, Varna, and this weekend - in Plovdiv.
