Five parties would clear the 4% threshold if elections for parliament were to be held today: Market Links

If elections for parliament were to be held today, GERB/SDS would be the first political force, indicates a representative survey conducted September 26-October 8 by Market Links, and financed by the agency and by bTV.  

GERB/SDS garners 23.6% of the votes, followed by We Continue the Change/Democratic Bulgaria (PP/DB) with 17.5%. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms comes third with 12.4%, Vazrazhdane – 11.1%, the Bulgarian Socialist Party – 7.9%.

The politicians with the highest approval rating are: President Rumen Radev – 43%, GERB leader Boyko Borissov – 25% and Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov – 24%.

The most trusted institutions are: the government with 21% of the respondents stating they trust the Denkov-Gabriel cabinet, while more than half say they do not. The National Assembly and the prosecutor’s office both have the trust of 15%, with 63% saying they do not trust parliament and 58% - that they do not trust the prosecutor’s office.
