For the 57th time, Yambol is hosting the republican running competition "Diana", known as the oldest competition in the athletics calendar in Bulgaria. More than 80 competitors from 21 clubs in the country have registered, organizers announced. They are divided into eight age groups. Students from the 5th  to 12th grade from Yambol schools will participate in the sports event.‎

The first edition of the Diana running competition was on December 4, 1966, on the initiative of the late distinguished coach Velislav Velev.
