National Revenue Agency will have to pay a EUR 2.6 million fine for personal data leak

The Sofia Regional Court has confirmed the EUR 2.6 million fine, imposed by the Commission for Personal Data Protection on the National Revenue Agency, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports. 

The fine was imposed over the data leaked during a hacker attack in 2019. The ruling of the Sofia Regional Court is subject to appeal.
