Bulgaria wins a host of medals at world kickboxing championship in Portugal

The World Association of Kickboxing Organizations’ championship of the planet in Albufeira, Portugal, is the most successful world championship ever for men and women for Bulgaria’s kickboxers.

The Bulgarian competitors won a total of 6 world titles, 3 silver and 10 bronze medals. 17-year old Kalina Boyadzhieva will go in history as the first Bulgarian female competitor with three world titles from one competition in her debut in the women.
