The Christmas festivities in Kyustendil start on December 2 with lighting of the Christmas tree in the city square "Velbuzhd". Festive decorations will also shine in the central part of the city.

A Christmas Town in the center of Kyustendil will revive the old tradition of the past when traders and producers arranged and offered a range of goods, food, wine and drinks, souvenirs and gifts. 16 wooden houses will be built in the Christmas town, two of which will house workshops for souvenirs, where children will be able to make various decorations for the holidays.
