The oldest string quartet of the Sofia Philharmonic - "Sofia Quartet", once again focuses on the children's audience. This time with the desire to introduce them to the work of iconic composers of the 20th century.
In the framework of the project "Concerts with a dress code for children: Digital", children will learn more about the lives of personalities such as Dmitri Shostakovich, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Sergei Prokofiev and Igor Stravinsky. In previous videos of the series, the musicians talk about the life and work of Johannes Brahms, Joseph Haydn, Alexander Borodin, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Robert Schumann, Antonin Dvořák.
Through this project, which is implemented with the support of "Culture" Program of the Sofia Municipality, the musicians contribute to early musical education in Bulgaria.
The project started back in 2018 in the form of open events with free access for children and parents. In 2021, the concerts started taking place online.
