At a tripartite meeting with Austrian Minister of the Interior, Gerhard Karner and Romanian Minister of the Interior, Cătălin Predoiu, held within the framework of the Salzburg Forum in Slovenia, Bulgarian Minister of the Interior Kalin Stoyanov presented Bulgaria's position for full Schengen membership.

"Bulgaria and Romania have fulfilled all the criteria for full Schengen membership and the results of the last mission to Bulgaria by experts from the member states, including Austria and the Netherlands, prove this one again," Minister Stoyanov said.

Today, answering citizens' questions on social networks, Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov said that Bulgaria would not accept additional conditions different than those for other countries. "We will see where the boundary of acceptable and unacceptable conditions for Schengen will be in the coming days and week," he added.
