At a meeting in Brussels last night with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov stressed that land borders were important for Bulgaria. "Negotiations on our entry into Schengen are continuing and will continue until the last day," he told journalists before the start of the regular European Council meeting today, without specifying when that last day would be, BNR correspondent Angelina Piskova reports from Brussels.
