On 4 January, 2024, the scientific research ship Saints Cyril and Methodius transporting Bulgaria’s Polar researchers is expected to arrive in the Livingstone Island’s South Bay, near the Bulgarian Antarctic base St. Kliment Ohridski. The Saints Cyril and Methodius research ship set sail from Varna on 8 November and is expected to return to Bulgaria in April 2024.
