The art gallery in Dobrich is inviting the lovers of fine art to re-discover Bulgarian artists for whom 2024 is a jubilee year, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports. In its first exposition for the year, entitled “Anniversaries”, the gallery presents 9 Bulgarian artists with 27 paintings.

The painters were born in the first half of the 20th century, and their works are notable for their vivid individual style, their marked presence in the artistic life of the country and the contribution they have made to Bulgarian fine art. The works selected for the exposition span three decades – the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s – an interesting and complicated period in the development of fine art in Bulgaria.
