Weather forecast for January 27

Code yellow alert for strong wind issued for 13 districts in Western Bulgaria

On Saturday the lowest temperatures will range from minus 3°C and 2°C, for Sofia minus 3°C. Northwesterly wind and clouds will bring rain and snow from the west, more significant in Northern and Eastern Bulgaria. It will snow in the mountain passes of the Balkan Mountain range. Blizzards are also in the forecast. Maximum temperatures will range from 3°C to 8°C, for the capital city around 4°C.

It will be cloudy along the Black Sea coast. Rain and sleet are expected along some portions of the coastline in the afternoon hours. Maximum temperatures will range from 5°C to 8°C. The seawater temperature is 7°C-8°C. Sea state- 2.

It will be cloudy over the mountains. It will snow in the Balkan Mountain range, with a chance of blizzards. There will be strong to hurricane-force northwesterly winds. The temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be minus 1°C, at 2,000 meters- up to minus 6°C.

It will continue cloudy on Sunday. It will snow in the mountains and in Southeastern Bulgaria. The lowest temperatures will range from 4°C to 1°C. Daytime highs will range from 1°C and 6°C.
