Radical changes are needed in the services in order for them to carry out the tasks set by the government. Now they are "implementing what comes as orders from the presidency," Atanas Atanasov, co-chair of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" parliamentary group, has told BNT. He gave an example with a case about leaking of classified intelligence information.

"There is heavy tension along the line of granting Bulgarian citizenship," Atanasov also said. "There is some mythical person here who deals with this. His name is Gleb Mishin. He is Ukrainian by birth, but he is probably Russian. He provides a whole cavalcade of Russians who get Bulgarian citizenship. There is an office in Moscow that recruits those who want to become Bulgarian citizens. They send him the documents, he submits them to the Ministry of Justice and they become Bulgarian citizens."
