Health Minister: There will be no flu epidemic in Sofia

No flu epidemic will be declared in Sofia, Health Minister Hristo Hinkov told journalists. He added that the level of incidence of influenza and acute respiratory diseases is decreasing both in the capital and in the country. 

In the Sofia region, it is still high, so the Ministry of Education and Science will consider whether to declare a vacation or continue with online education. The highest number of people suffering from flu and acute respiratory diseases is in the Sofia region - 311 per 10,000 people, according to the data of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases as of February 4. 

The lowest incidence is in the capital Sofia - 108 per 10,000 people, and in the Razgrad region - 99 per 10,000 people.
