Weather forecast: Sunday will be warm for February

Over the next 24 hours the weather will be predominantly cloudy with light rain in Southwestern Bulgaria and the region of the Rhodopes. Minimum temperatures in most regions of the country 7-12° C., for Sofia around 7° C.  

Tomorrow there will be rain in Southern Bulgaria; by evening the rain will spread to Northwestern Bulgaria as well. There will be a southerly wind which will pick up during the day to become strong to tempestuous. Temperatures will continue high for February, reaching a maximum of 14-19° C., for Sofia 15-16° C.

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly cloudy, with rain mostly over Mounts Rila and the Rhodopes, above 1,800-2,00 m. there will be snow. There will be a strong to tempestuous wind from the South-Southwest. Maximum temperature above an altitude of 1,200 m. around 8° C., above 2,000 m. around 2° C.

Over the Black Sea the weather will be predominantly cloudy, no rain is in the forecast. There will be a strong to tempestuous wind from the South-Southwest. Maximum temperatures 13-18° C., temperature of the sea water 7-8° C., sea swell in the Southern portion of the sea coast 2-3, to the North – 3-4.
