Quantum Symphony at the Palace: A journey beyond ordinary perception

Photo: National Gallery

An audiovisual installation Quantum Symphony will be on display at the Palace in Sofia from 13 February until 10 March.

It is the first installation of its kind, using a revolutionary holographic technology for an immersive sensory experience, say the organizers from the National Gallery and Sensor Studio. In their words, visitors will be offered a magical journey beyond the bounds of ordinary perception, in which quantum physics and art merge to give food for thought – on the bond between the visible and the invisible, between science and art. But audiovisual effects have also been added to the cosmic picture. “Every visualization is combined with special sounds, capturing the essence of quantum reality, turning the Palace ballroom into a world of magic,” the organizers say.
