There aren’t many people in Bulgaria familiar with the history of any given car manufacturer in minute detail. But Stefan Ivanov, an artist born in Dryanovo, and the man who created an illustrated history of Skoda is one such person.

On 16 March this year he is making his grand dream come true, as he opens an exhibition in the city where Skoda is made – Mlada Boleslav in Czechia. Visitors to the exhibition, among them the town’s mayor, company officials as well as people from the Bulgarian community in Czechia, will be able to see 25 sketches of cars from different periods in the history of the car company.

Find out more about the artist’s passion for drawing and for automotive history:

The exhibition will be on until 24 March.
