Alek Kirev is an independent artist who, in addition to writing his own songs, takes care of every step for their further realization and distribution. Exactly a year after releasing his original album Gravity, Alek Kirev is ready with a new song titled 'Who Are You?'' The idea about the song was born even before the album's release, although it was not included in it Now the piece is realized in a completely different way. Like with the other songs, Alek first wrote the music, then structured the song, and finally wrote the lyrics."
Stylistically, the piece has little in common with his previous works. Alek attributes this partly to the fact that he collaborated with different people. 'Who Are You?' was created with Robbie Nikolov, who is a songwriter, performer and music producer. Alek has more about the diversity in his songs:
''The truth is that there have always been two worlds within me. One is the world of rock – indie rock from the '90s, Nirvana, Oasis, The Beatles. The other part of me, however, likes pop music, specifically contemporary pop by artists like Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith... These two worlds have always been in me’’, said Alek Kirev.
