"The Russian authorities should not be particularly trusted. They lie all the time’’, Mika Golubovski, editor at the Russian opposition website Mediazona, told BNR from Lithuania. "As for the specific circumstances surrounding Alexei Navalny's death, we all would like to know them. According to many of us, this was a real murder. So far, the body has not been handed over to his family", added Golubovski.

"In Russia, there are protests in big cities and in smaller ones. According to our information, the police have already detained over 400 participants. Cases are already being filed against these people. For now they are administrative. However, criminal cases will most likely be filed soon. All these people who came out to protest in Russia are incredibly brave," said Golubovski. "Bulgaria is a European country with European values, and it is very important to write and talk more about what is happening in Russia", the dissident went on to say.
