On February 22, in Studio 1 of the BNR, the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band will hold a concert titled ''Bridge Between Generations''. The concert features pop music hits performed by young singers. More 20 favorite pieces such as ''White Silence'', ''People and Streets'', ''Let It Be Summer'', ''Love Is a Sea'', etc, will be presented in special arrangements. George Miltiyadoff will be guest conductor. The young, yet already established musician, is working with the BNR Big Band for the first time.
The songs in the ''Bridge Between Generations'' are by composers Yosif Tzankov, Boris Karadimchev, Stefan Dimitrov, Alexander Brazitsov, Vili Kazasyan, Emil Georgiev, etc, who have left a bright mark in Bulgarian music. Most of them have collaborated with the music ensembles of the Bulgarian National Radio. The soloists are Iveta Todorova, Karina Ilieva, Eliya Todorova, Alex Karaboev, Kristina Encheva, Erik Mihaylov, Vocal Ensemble Graffiti, Vocal Group New Magic, etc.
12-year-old Kristina Encheva is the youngest soloist in the ''Bridge Between Generations''. The talented girl will perform the piece "Dokoga". The music is by Alexander Brazitsov, lyrics- Mihail Belchev. ''Dokoga'' was included in Nelly Rangelova’s first music album. In the beginning of the 1980’s, the song earned the singer the ''Silver Lyre''' award at the international festival ''Bratislava Lyre''.
