Bulgaria's full accession to Schengen will give an additional boost to the relations between Bulgaria and Greece, Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis said at a briefing in Sofia. The guest pointed out that people-to-people contact is very important and the countries can develop cultural and academic exchange. Water management in the Arda River was also discussed at the talks. We hope to have an agreement soon, Gerapetritis said.

"The relations between Bulgaria and Greece are an axis of stability in Southeast Europe. She added that for the past 3 years, bilateral trade has grown by 1 billion euros and has reached a record of 4.5 billion euros.
