Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 6 March 2024

Temperatures will go down, rain, snow expected on Wednesday

On Wednesday, March 6, the cloudiness will be significant, in the afternoon hours in the southwestern half of the country it will rain, in the mountains above 1,300 m - snow is expected. The minimum temperatures will be between 2° and 7°, in Sofia - around 3°C.

The maximum temperatures tomorrow will be between 11°C and 16°C, in Sofia - around 13°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast the cloud cover will be significant, already in the morning hours the precipitation will stop in the southernmost regions. A moderate northeasterly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be 9°C-13°C. The temperature of the sea water is 8°C. 

Over the mountains, cloudy, foggy weather will prevail on the peaks. After a temporary stop of the rain, after lunch snowfall is expected in places and below 1200 m - rain; in the evening from the southwest, precipitation will intensify.  The maximum temperature at a height of 1,200 m will be about 6°C, at 2,000 m - about - 1°C.

The weather in the Balkan Peninsula will be mostly cloudy, in many places with rain, significant in the western parts. There will also be thunderstorms in Albania and Greece.
