At a meeting in the National Assembly, from the parliamentary rostrum, MP Pavela Mitova, a member of the Energy Commission from the ITN group, presented a Declaration that 14 times signals have been sent to the authorities related to the country's energy security, BNT reported.

Mitova warned about the consequences that will occur through the seizure of dividends from Bulgarian energy companies, "including the correction of completed financial audits of the Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH), in violation of provisions of the Commercial Law."

According to Mitova, because of the current policy, there is a real danger that Bulgaria will turn from a net exporter into a net importer of electricity. There will also be an increase in the price of electricity for household consumers, due to the liberalization of the market, the decline in electricity production in the country and the inability of the "Security of the Electricity System" Fund to withstand the constant pressure, stressed Mitova.
