A delegation led by Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Ulrik Knudsen, will visit Bulgaria between April 2 and 4.

Bulgaria's accession to the OECD is one of the key foreign policy priorities, outgoing Deputy Premier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel recently said.

According to Mariya Gabriel, the report on our country is positive. "It reflects the expectations of political stability, notes the good and accelerated pace at which our country is moving. The report takes into account the progress made so far and the upcoming accession reviews", said Mariya Gabriel.

In 2022, Bulgaria started negotiations to join the OECD and received its OECD Roadmap.
