Parliament establishes three temporary inquiry committees before the elections

In a late evening meeting, the parliament created 3 temporary committees of inquiry. The first was proposed by "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) and will investigate the Road Map and the construction of the Balkan Stream gas pipeline. A second committee will investigate the case with the derogation for the export of petroleum products from "Lukoil" Burgas. The "Vazrazhdane" party voted against the creation of the second committee. No chairpersons of the two committees were elected. At the suggestion of ITN, a committee was was also created to investigate corrupt practices in the "Customs" Agency and a possible role of Finance Minister Asen Vasilev in them. The committee will be headed by MP Toshko Yordanov. PP-DB voted against.
