The Bulgarian Ministry of Energy, led by caretaker Energy Minister Vladimir Malinov, has pledged to help Ukraine rebuild its power grid after damage caused by Russian military action.

This commitment was made during a video conference with his Ukrainian counterpart, German Galushchenko.

Rapid and targeted efforts are crucial to prepare Ukraine for the upcoming winter season. The Ukrainian Embassy in Bulgaria has provided a list of necessary equipment and a prompt response is expected for the required assistance, as highlighted in the conversation.

Speeding up the process of delivery of the Belene nuclear power plant equipment to Ukraine and gas supplies were the other issues discussed by the two ministers.
