Kozloduy nuclear power plant has been given top marks by the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO), the NPP says.

WANO conducts an annual peer review of all nuclear power plants, members of the association, based on specific criteria reflecting operational safety, level of interaction as well as support within the organization. The peer review confirms a maximum performance by Kozloduy NPP for all criteria. The Bulgarian NPP has earned recognition for its active involvement in the WANO programmes, and is a preferred partner in rendering support to other NPPs, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports.
