The State Agency for Child Protection has announced a competition for a logo for the National Telephone Line for Children 116 111 and its chat application.
It is open to inspired artists aged between 11 and 16, the agency said, who have complete creative freedom.

"The line and chat are the place where they can share everything that worries them, ask all their questions, be listened to and supported," says the agency's chairperson Dr Teodora Ivanova, adding that it is crucial that more and more children become aware of the existence of this communication channel.

Ideas for the logo of the National Helpline for Children can be submitted until 30 June and there will be attractive prizes for the participants.

Winners will be announced in September.

In the first three months of this year, calls from children to this line have totalled around 6,300. In this period, the number of reports of children at risk is 405 and the number of consultations conducted is nearly 2,100.
