Bulgarian language at home and abroad discussed by Bulgarian and international scholars

The Annual International Conference of the Institute for Bulgarian Language "Prof. Lyubomir Andreichin" at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences will be held in Sofia on May 15 and 16. 

Traditionally, the forum examines the achievements and trends in the field of Bulgarian language research in Bulgaria and around the world. International speakers will include Cristina-Andreea Radu-Bejenaru (University of Bucharest) - on the motivation for learning Bulgarian as a second language; Raki Bello (University of Tirana, Albania) - on Bulgarians and the Bulgarian language in Albania; Olga Novak (Odessa National University "I.I. Mechnikov", Ukraine) - on sociolinguistic aspects of the study of Bulgarian languages in Bessarabia, etc.
