From the beginning of May until 12 July 2024, six hotels of the HULIC hotel chain in Japan, in cooperation with the Bulgarian Embassy in Tokyo, are once again organising a festival of Bulgarian cuisine, the diplomatic mission there announced on Facebook.

The theme of the second edition of the festival is the Bulgarian rose. Desserts and drinks made with Bulgarian rose jam, honey and rose water will be served. Of course, the desserts will be harmoniously preceded by traditional Bulgarian dishes such as banitsa, shopska salad, kebabs, roast pork with snezhanka sauce, served with quality Bulgarian wines.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Tokyo continues to work to promote this country through Bulgarian cuisine and to encourage the import of quality Bulgarian products such as cheese, wine, honey, rose cosmetics, etc., the diplomats added.
