"There will be no technical problems with the voting machines in the June 9 elections," said the caretaker Minister of e-Government Valentin Mundrov on the occasion of the completed verification of the technical devices. He added that the team leaders' report was positive.

"The procedure, which is being carried out by the Central Election Commission and is related to the entrusted development of the software to be installed on the voting machines, will begin shortly," the minister explained.

This process will be done in a controlled environment provided by the Ministry of e-Governance. The so-called hashcode, which will be displayed on each ballot paper, will then be made public.

A total of 9,500 machines will be made available to voters at home and another 250 abroad.
